Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous for the films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Her film Piano earned her an Oscar. She began her career acting as an actress both on Broadway and Off Broadway. Since her childhood she's been passionate about acting. She played Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school play. Mumps led her to lose hearing in one her ear canals, but that didn't stop the actress from fulfilling her dream. She was a drama major at the college, and then moved from Pittsburgh and moved to New York City to follow her goals. Hunter had her Broadway debut after an accidental encounter in the company of Beth Henley, a playwright. They collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart. After moving into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to land films to play. A supporting role was found for her in Swing Shift. For the past 30 years she's appeared in various TV series and movies. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and also an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
